Our Policies:

Making Reservations
WildSpring is available for small groups from October through May.

Rates are per cabin for one or two people, assuming one bed; if two people also want a pull-out sofabed, add $15/day. For more than two people, add $40/person. Children must be at least 10 years old (see below). We cannot guarantee cabin selection for one-night stays.

Note: One person in your party must be at least 25 years old, and each cabin must have someone who is at least 18 years old. No cabins with just children.

Please let us know any dietary issues before arrival.

Group Charges
In our experience, all groups use our common facilities more than individual travelers and that increases our staffing requirements, as well as often requiring far more time before the stay planning for the group and its activities.

We add a surcharge to all groups to help handle the planning and managing of your group here: This is from $75 to $300 each day, depending on the event, number of people, and the level of planning, managing, assistance, set-up, activities, meals, clean-up and additional staff time your group requires...even if you do not take the entire property. Normally there is no charge for the last day since we take care of breakfast for your group. We determine the surcharge after talking with you.

If you have a small group that does not use all the cabins: We are a small facility and only have limited common facilities; our other guests will of course expect to use them, too. You will need to discuss using the Guest Hall and deck for your gatherings in a way that will not make other guests uncomfortable to share them...your guests need to be mindful of noise and space issues. We can also set up meeting areas in the grounds that could be entirely yours and we suggest using the large cabin, Annwyn, for small meetings as well. We need to discuss what you will need from us to assist your group gatherings/meals and any additional service charge to cover our additional labor requirements to ensure the Guest Hall remains clean and tidy for everyone here.

Please understand that our policies and charges are based on long experience with the time and effort that group bookings require here. We certainly understand your desire to minimize your costs, and hope you understand our need to cover ours. If you come here with a small group without booking it as a group and discussing this with us beforehand - and use the Guest Hall for group meals and gatherings - we will add a group surcharge to your stay, minimum $100/day.

If you have friends or family who visit you here who are not staying at WildSpring, you will need to let us know beforehand - that would be $20 per day per person. They are welcome to help themselves to our refreshments while they're here. If you want to invite them to enjoy our continental breakfast, we need to know that the day before, and that would be an additional $15 per person.

Security Deposit
We will charge a $500 security deposit when you book your group here. Any damage or extraordinary cleaning (not agreed upon when planning your event) will be deducted from that deposit, and the balance credited after departure. (And if this sounds a bit harsh, please feel free to ask us for various anecdotes that preceded this policy...)

Cancellations and Changes
A 50% deposit is required when making reservations for groups. For cancellation more than 30 days before arrival date, we will refund half your deposit. No refunds for cancellations within 30 days before arrival date. The balance is due 2 weeks before arrival; group rate will not change due to individual cancellations after this point. Any additional products or services purchased during your stay will be deducted from your security deposit or charged at your departure. As Covid-19 is now a foreseen event, late cancellations due to government travel restrictions, fear of travel, illness or change of mind are subject to our normal cancellation policy.” (Travel insurance is available through a third party).

General Policies
• The group leader is responsible for the entire group, ensuring that they understand and honor our policies and procedures, and is required to sign a Group Agreement.
• 1.5% state & 7% city taxes, 4% service/amenity fee added to lodging (no tipping is necessary here). 10% discount for stays of 6 days or longer. Due to the additional cleaning requirements during Covid, we have added a $25 special cleaning fee/cabin to 1-night stays.
• Checkin is at 3pm, checkout at 11am. Please ask if you would like to arrive early or leave late.
• If 2 people in a cabin require 2 beds, that is an additional $15/day - extra beds must be requested before noon, day of arrival. We may not be able to set one up if you wait until you're here to ask - if we are able to, it will be $30 for that night instead of $15.
• Children must be 10 years or older, and we require children to honor the expectations of peace and quiet of the other guests. If you take the entire property, we will allow babies who are not yet out of the crib - $15/day. (Our cabins are filled with art and antiques that make it impossible for us to child-proof against toddlers or even crawling babies.)
• No smoking anywhere on the property for fire, insurance and guest comfort reasons. Any smoking or vaping will incur a $250 fine (though smoking is allowed right outside our entrance as long as any butts are deposited in the special can before entering WildSpring).
• We have furnished this facility with many lovely things, trusting in the integrity and care of our guests. If any items are missing, stained or damaged enough to require professional cleaning, repair or replacement in a timely manner, we reserve the right to charge the associated costs. You will find special towels for makeup removal and extra dirty work (such as cleaning mud from shoes) in each cabin; if the white towels or robes are used and we are unable to clean them, we reserve the right to charge for professional cleaning or replacement.
• The cabins do not have phones, though we do have good cell-phone reception depending on your carrier; and the TV/DVD is for playback only (enjoy our extensive library of DVDs in the Guest Hall).
• The spa is available only during the hours for that time of year. If you want to extend the hours for your group, that will need to be discussed before finalizing your reservation.
• Limited doggy guests. Rosslyn, cabin 1, is our only dog-friendly cabin. Please visit our dog-friendly page for more information and requirements. If you travel with a Service Animal, please visit our Disabilities and Service Animals page and call us before making your reservation.
• While we appreciate how special WildSpring is for special events, we no longer host weddings nor receptions, and cannot rent our facilities to people not staying here.

Any exceptions to the policies at the time of your booking must be discussed and agreed upon in writing before the deposit is made. After that point, we assume you understand and accept our policies without further negotiation.
