Griff's on the Dock, 303 Dock Rd, 541.332.8985. 11am – 8pm daily. Fresh, local seafood. Steaks, burgers, sandwiches. Ask for light on salt. On the dock, lots of atmosphere. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101 north, look for signs to Port, left on Harbor Dr.

Paradise Café, 518 19th St, 541.221.8104.  6am – 2pm daily. Diner fare - burgers, breakfasts, sandwiches. Ice cream cones. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101 north, corner 101 and 19th.

Paula’s Bistro & Lounge, 236 6th St (Hwy 101), 541.332.9378, Tues – Sat 5 - 9pm. Eclectic, creative cuisine. Fresh fish, perfectly roasted lamb, pork and steaks. Gorgonzola pasta is a treat. Daily specials. Local art everywhere. Paula is very responsive to dietary requests. And, they will deliver to our Guest Hall if you'd like dinner with a view (we will add the meal to your invoice at checkout; there will be a 20% service charge added to the meal). Pitches Tavern, 325 6th St (Hwy 101), 541.332.9313. 11am – 11pm daily. Our local beer, wine and pool tavern with limited diner fare. Delicious burgers (seriously). Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101 north, on the left.

Port & Starboard Restaurant & Lounge, 460 Madrona Ave, 541.332.4515. 7am – 9pm daily, Lounge/full bar until 2am. Karaoke Thursday nights. Traditional seafood, steaks, prime rib, pizza, burgers. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101 north, corner 101 and Madrona (north end of town).

Seaweed Natural Grocery & Café, 832 Oregon St (Hwy 101), 541.332.3640. Mon – Sat 11am – 5pm. Roll-ups, soup, potato salad, veg slaw, muffins. Good natural fare. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101 north, on the right.

Bandon

Alloro Wine Bar, 375 2nd St SE, 541.347.1850. daily 4– 9:30pm. Extraordinary, authentic Italian food prepared completely from scratch, pared with wine tastings of fine Oregon wines. Freshest seasonal produce, seafood and meats. Large selection of antipasti, salads, pastas, local Pacific seafood and grilled meats. Reservations important. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101, north for half an hour, in Old Town.

Bandon Dunes Gallery Restaurant/Pub, 2450 North Lakeview, 541.347.4380 6am to late. Excellent, fine food, elegant service, full bar. Reservations suggested. They also have a number of casual restaurants there, all very good; a worthwhile stop on the way down the coast. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101, north for half an hour, turn left at Bandon Dunes sign, about 2 miles north of Bandon.

Billy Smoothboar’s, Hwy 101 and Seabird Lane, 541.347.2373. Wed – Mon 11am – 9pm. Fresh local seafood, BBQ ribs and prime rib, burgers, salads. Good, simple food. Full bar. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101, north for 20 minutes, on the left.

Lord Bennett’s, 1695 Beach Loop Dr, 541.347.3663. Daily. Lunch 11am – 3pm, dinner 5 – 9pm, Sunday brunch 11am – 3pm. Great ocean view, seafood and prime steaks. Reservations recommended. Full bar.

Minute Café, 145 2nd St. 541.347.2707. Lunch and Dinner, 5:30am – 8pm, daily. Great diner food, everything prepared there. Great clam chowder and omletes. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101, north for half an hour, in Old Town.

Thai Thai, 160 Baltimore St, 541.329.0160. Mon – Sat lunch 11am – 2:30pm; Mon – Thurs dinner 5pm – 7:30pm; Fri & Sat dinner 5pm – 8:30pm. Really good Thai food. Massaman or My Woman curries are outstanding (fyi...“mild” is still quite peppy). Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101, north for half an hour, in Old Town.

The Wheelhouse, 125 Chicago Ave, 541.347.9331. Lunch and Dinner, daily. Fresh local seafood, steaks and fresh clam chowder. Very good. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101, north for half an hour, in Old Town.

Wild Rose Bistro, 130 Chicago Ave, 541.347.4428. Wed – Mon 5 – 10pm. Very good pastas, steak, paella, local seafood. Organic greens, seasonal fish. They make their own bread, salad dressings, soups and desserts. Full bar. Directions: left on Cemetery Loop to 101, north for half an hour, in Old Town.

Gold Beach

Grants Pancake & Omelet House, 29790 Ellensburg (Hwy 101), 541.247.7208. 5:30 am – 3pm daily. Breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches, salads. Directions: right on Cemetery Loop to 101, south for half an hour, toward the northern end of Gold Beach on the right.

Nor'Wester Seafood, 10 Ellensurg Ave, in the Port of Gold Beach, 541.247.2333. 5 – 9pm daily. Ocean-view fresh seafood, steaks and pasta with full bar. Directions: right on Cemetery Loop to 101, south for half an hour, in the Port area in the northern end of Gold Beach on the right.

Patti’s Rollin ‘n Dough Bistro, Bakery & Deli, 94257 North Bank Rogue Rd, 541.247.4438. Lunch Tues – Sat 10:30am – 3pm. Oregon Coast Magazine calls it the “don’t miss place to dine on the Oregon Coast.” Everything is prepared from scratch, including all her breads, mayonnaise, salad dressings, soups and desserts. She once cooked the inaugural banquet for the Governor of Hawaii. Fine cuisine, classics revisited, fresh local fish, pasta, salads, grilled Panini sandwiches. Bring your own wine, no corkage. Reservations suggested. She is also available to cater meals here and you can pick up prepared dinners to heat here if you're coming from the south (it's worth it...call for her weekly specials). Directions: right on Cemetery Loop to 101, south for half an hour. Left on North Bank Rogue Rd. right before the big bridge over the Rogue River. A small white house on the left a short ways down.

Good Mexican food. Their beef nachos are really great. Directions: right on Cemetery Loop to 101, south for half an hour, in the middle of Gold Beach on the left.

Port Hole Cafe, 29550 Ellensburg Ave (Hwy 101), 541.247.7411. 11:am – 9pm daily
Fresh fish and diner food. Very good clam chowder. Directions: right on Cemetery Loop to 101, south for half an hour, in Gold Beach Harbor on the right.

Spinner’s Seafood, Steak & Chop House, 29430 Ellensburg Ave (Hwy 101), 541.247.5160. 4:30 – 9:40pm daily. Ocean-view fresh seafood, wild local salmon, prime rib, steaks and chops. Lounge with full bar. Directions: right on Cemetery Loop to 101, south for half an hour, toward the southern end of Gold Beach on the right.
