6 packets of Nestle pre-melted baking chocolate, unsweetened (place in a bowl of hot water before opening and they’ll pour out very easily – or microwave them for 5 min at a time – checking constantly – until semi-liquid)
¼ C high-cacao content bittersweet chocolate
2 C sugar
1/4 t espresso powder
1 can (15oz) evaporated milk
1 stick salted butter
1 . vanilla
Put milk in top of double boiler, add chocolate. Whisk until thoroughly blended and melted. Add sugar, stirring while adding. Cook 1/2 hour, stirring often. Add butter, stirring while melting. Cook 1/2 hour, stirring often. Add vanilla.
