One night a doe and buck even wandered down by the spa during their feeding. "My wive, Alexa, and I just loved this pace so very much. Perfect for our ten-year anniversary. So many things were wonderful here. The views, the sheets, the shower, the trees, the nice guy with the cross necklaces, the invisible water and dolphins, the sink in the guest cabin is my favorite item on the property. Oh and the hot tub is just sweet. My wife loves the bed and I had such a hard time getting her out of it. Oh and she just loves how the nice sheriff pulls everyone over and welcomes them to Port Orford. It seems a strange greeting, but there are so many of them that must be the reason. Got to have those sheriffs to make everyone happy. We will be back."

"We came to celebrate 25 years of marriage and found a spot as wondrous as those 25 years together. Highlights: Every small detail of design and decor (some to be replicated in Boulder...). A whale sighted in the bay (NEVER to be replicated in Boulder!). The walk at the lifeboat House where we recognized the western cousins of wildflowers and birds we've come to know by name over the years spent living further east on the continent. Waking up under sheltering trees in a bed that was incredibly comfortable - so much so we almost missed breakfast (classic case of bed vs breakfast, and bed almost won). Tracking the dancing flight of swallows from the hot tub and enjoying them those talents & this place to call home. Thank you for providing such a lovely, tranquil, and soulful backdrop for us as we continue on our little journey together."
